Hi there.

My name is Jennifer Anderson.  I’m a wife to my husband of 25 years.  I’m a mother to my three teenage children.  Omaha is the city I call home.

An occasional DIY project makes me happy.  Red wine and a good book are things I enjoy.

Living on the water is something I dream about.  Hiking the Camino De Santiago is something I’m thinking about.  Attending the Kentucky Derby and crashing a wedding (after dinner!  I’ll bring a gift!) are both on my bucket list.

Yes, this is a Christmas Eve selfie. I don’t have a tripod. Don’t judge.

Laundry, most especially matching socks, is something I actively work to avoid.  Black olives and left exits off the interstate are things I really don’t like.

Cussing is the vice I’m currently working on.  Replaying stupid things I’ve said or worrying about worst case scenarios both keep me up at night.  Parenting is something I thought I had all the answers to.

Our marriage is something we’ve both messed up and fought for.  We are both grateful we did.

Hiking in the mountains is something I wish I could do more of. Paying attention to what makes me cry (Emily P. Freeman) has opened my eyes.  Kind, introverted and creative are words I’d use to describe myself.  Being one of the first people on the dance floor after the bridal party and family dances – is something you can almost always count on me for.

Cheers,

Jennifer
